So, i changed families about a week ago, and i have to say, i completely love my new family! theyre all sooooo nice! My dad isnt home alot, but when he is home, hes really helpful. and he makes me breakfast =) while being with this family, Ive realized that having breakfast actually does put you in a better mood and helps your concentration! Theres also my dads wife...i prefer to not think of her as my mom because shes only 17, which is the same age as me, which is slightly awkward...shes really sweet though and really enjoys talking to me because she doesnt get out alot because she has to stay home with my 1 year old sister, Luciana. Luciana is sooo cute and sweet! Im never, ever bored with her around. Shes alot of fun. i love playing with her and shes even fun to watch movies with! jajaa. I also have another sister and brother that live with me part time, mostly just on the weekends because they live with their mom. Nicole is 14 and Andres is 18. Theyre both so funny and interesting to talk to! My first night with their family was really fun because i stayed up late talking and playing cards with them. They taught me how to play 40, which is a really popular card game here, but i still dont understand it! jajaja. they really love playing with me though because i get so confused and they win. jajaja. it is realy fun for me too though. This weekend, im excited because ill actually get to spend some real time with them. Nicole was listing all these places she wants to bring me, so i actually have no idea what we will be doing.
My house is really nice. Its an apartment, but a big one. i have my own room, with a huuuge bed! which is good because i sprawl alot when i sleep. =P i really like my kitchen too, mostly because it ALWAYS has good food in it that im allowed to eat whenever i want to. jaja. They also let me cook whenever i want. so i am pretty excited to make them their groundhogs day cake today! The location of my house is slightly unfortunate because its far away from pretty much everything, but my dad said that he will drive me places on the weekends, so its completely okay. Theres no computer in my house, so i wont be able to talk to you guys as much. im cool with it because i think it will really be good for me not being able to use the computer very often, but its sllightly difficult right now.
So in conclusion, in case you missed out on this key detail, i completely love everything about my new life. My family. my room. the kitchen. the apartment in general. i even love my new bus! so chao for now!
